Botch: The vampire is unable to protect herself in this fashion from the damage to come. This power cannot be used again for the remainder of the scene. All blood points spent are lost.

Failure: The vampire is unable to protect herself in this fashion from the damage to come, and must wait until her next turn to use this power again. All blood points spent are lost.

Success: Each success reduces the amount of damage on the coming attack by one. This works on all types of damage.
