Fire Gifts

This path, quite naturally, is taught by a Fire Elemental.

• Create Fire

The shifter can create a small amount of fire simply by summoning it into existence.


Cost: One essence point.

Dice Pool: Manipulation + Occult.

Action: Immediate.


Roll Results

Botch: A small fireball erupts and just as quickly extinguishes in the shifter's hands, doing one point of aggravated damage. The shifter cannot attempt this gift again for a number of hours equal to the botch level. Ie. -1 botch, 1 hour, -2 botch, 2 hours, etc. All essence spent is lost.

Failure: No fire is created. All essence spent is lost.

Success: 50 cubic centimetres of fire are created per success, within one meter of the character. This fire has a damage dice pool equal to the number of successes rolled to summon it. The fire will last until extinguished, or until it runs out of fuel.
