Ajaba - Werehyena

Ajaba form tightly-knit family groups. These packs consist of related Ajaba and their Kin. These form the basis for larger groups called clans. Most clans contain five families or less, and are often named after the most prominent female member of the clan.

Ajaba society is fiercely matriarchal. Females serve as the pack's warriors, leaders, and spies and dominate most packs. Males who survive to adulthood leave the pack at an early age, joining up with other packs to serve as mystics and taletellers.
